Robert & Elena: married {weddings)

It all started in the shampoo isle of Target.

Robert was looking for a new shampoo.

Elena thought she would offer a cute guy some free advice.

He took the advice and she went on her way.

Then he realized "YES, SHE WAS HITTING ON ME."

He searched the store and found her just in time...she was already checking out.

He got her phone number and a few days later they had their first date.

And we all know what became of that...

The N family: sneak peek {family}

For me my job isn't just about "making the buck."

Yes, for sure this is my job and yes,I can't do it for free, but it's also so much more for me. It's about the people I get to meet and the friendships I get to make.

I love being able to freeze time and capture memories for people And when I get to call those people "friends" it's even better! I really do have the best clients ever and am grateful for their trust in me.

I have had the pleasure of photographing this sweet family for a few years now. The fact that they keep coming back to me means more than I can put into words.

I love catching up and our chats! And I love that we share a favorite new TV show (you know what I'm talking about guys). Have you seen the show Revenge? I'm just sayin'....it's good!

I can't believe how fast time goes...Lexi is now in kindergarten. I really have been able to watch her grow right in front of my lens. I treasure that!

just breathe...trust me {family}

I was so excited when I got the email from my friend Tara asking me to take her family pictures this Holiday. This has been a long time coming and I couldn't have been more excited!!

There was a lot of planning and prepping on mom's part and it showed...everyone looked awesome.

As we got started I could see the stress in my dear friend's eyes "just breath, trust me" I told her.

 You see the little ones (as most times)  didn't care that I was there to capture them as an ENTIRE family. And you know what...it was perfect. This is "real" life and these to me are always my favorite images.

I adore so many images from this session just as I do this family.

"M" family, thank you for letting me be part of your memories. Your family is so precious and I'm so glad that I finally got to meet all of you.

oh the fun we're having... {children}

The fun just keeps on continuing!!!

Little Miss "O" has a special place in my heart. She is the daughter of some very sweet friends and I have had the pleasure of photographing her since she was a newborn.

I cherish all the little ones that I get to watch grow up in front of my lens. ;) What a special privilege!!!  

I even got to see some fancy dance moves on this shoot. The cutest Robot ever!!! ;)
