Yes, this really is one of my favorite families and there are too many reasons to list why. Do you recognize the youngest member of the family? I did Lacie's newborn pictures just a few short weeks ago...wow they sure grow fast.

And now that there is a new member of the family it was time to update the family portrait.

the "M" family

When I said that there was one very special family coming up, I wasn't joking. This family is just amazing and I just fell absolutely more in love when them during this shoot. They are a true example of strength, hope and faith! Enough said!!

The sun was sure a force to be reckoned with let me tell you, but I think we pulled it off! What fun this was for me...and these little gals are just as funny as they are sweet. Thanks for such a fun time guys...I enjoyed it too much I think.

Miss Rebecca

Meet Miss Rebecca or should I say Miss Riverside County 2008...sorry just had to throw that one in Becca. :) I can not say enough good things about this young woman, really. Brains, beauty, love for the Lord and such a kind heart...what more could you ask for?! Maybe that's why we've claimed her (and her sister) as our adopted daughters. :)

You regular blog readers may remember her sister Samantha from a shoot a few months back. Well now it was Becca's turn and she was completely game for anything I asked of her with no questions asked. I just love that! And we were even blessed with some of the most yummy light...love it!

Thanks for the fun girl...it was a joy!

Happy Birthday America

This is my pick for favorite photo Friday and for the obvious reason of course. But another reason is that these two cuties are my niece and nephew and tomorrow they will say goodbye to their daddy who will leave for 6 months training in the US Army for JAG.

We will miss him and wish him well in his adventure!! See you in December Greg...we love you and are very proud of you!!

What a great nation we live in and I feel very blessed to be able to have so many freedoms that others do not. Tomorrow I will say a special prayer to thank our Heavenly Father for those freedoms and for those who fight to protect them.
