she's back...

You might remember cutie-pie Samantha from our previous session together.

Well she decided to come hang out with me again on her 4 month birthday for a bit. This little gal is such a doll and I loved seeing all her little expressions. If you know me, than you know that 4 months is one of my favorite ages for kids. She is a prime example of why!

meet the "N" family

I was so excited when I saw the 'N" family step out of their car as they arrived for our session. You know that vibe you get sometimes when you first see someone and you know it's gonna be a good time? Well this was one of those times for me...and I was NOT wrong!!

This family was so sweet and fun to work with. I'm so glad that Sarah found me through a mutual friend. I'm also glad that this family was willing to brave the wild wind with me without complaint.

This morning as I was scanning over the few blogs that I follow I was stopped dead in my tracks. "She wants us to do what?"...is what I thought as I read today's entry from Kamee June. But then I realized that her words were right on and had touched my heart as I wiped the tear from my eye.

So I gave it a try. As I scanned through the images that I took I couldn't help but to laugh. This was harder than I thought and also funner than I thought. I learned a few things, first, I need some major laser resurfacing around my eyes. Second, I much rather prefer being on the other side of the camera. And third, I am very hard on myself and need to work on that.

There is just something about an expectant mother that can't be denied. And whatever that is, well Sarah has it. So beautiful!!

I enjoyed getting to know her and her family a little better during our time together. Yes, they are just as adorable in person!! I can't wait for baby Anderson's arrival...and yes, there will be pictures to follow of him.
