project 10: hair

I recently had the privilege of joining a photography group called "project 10." We are given a monthly theme and asked to do what we want with it. It's so amazing so see all the different interpretations on the same theme.  This months theme was 'hair."

 

I joined the group a little late and this month just got away from me so I decided to revisit a past session of mine rather than shoot a new one. I loved this session so much and I remember thinking during it how much I lover her hair. So to revisit it for this month was only fitting.

This session was just incredible!

The family, the yummy lighting, the outfits...they were just perfect.

I was like a kid on Christmas morning doing a happy dance.

So much fun getting to know this very sweet and gorgeous family.

Johnathon: Laguna Beach High, class of 2013

I really love my senior sessions. They are some of my favorite sessions to shoot. This one was extra special for me. You see mom and I go way back. Like all the way back to Jr high!! So when she called on me to do her only babies senior pics I was both honored and nervous. As always I had way too much fun and as an extra bonus I got to see my sweet friend.

 

Congrats Johnathon...your future is so bright!!!

baby boy on the way

This sweet family will be meeting their newest member VERY soon.

He tried to make his debut a few hours after our session, but mom wasn't having that!!

I do know that when he joins this amazing family that he is going to be surrounded by so much love and goodness.

I adore this family and am so happy for them.
