When I first decided to make a go at photography one of my goals was to have "forever clients." Ones that I can be there with through all occasions through the years. Miss O is one of those for me. I have been photographing her since she was brand new to this world. And 4 years later it only gets better. I love seeing her blossom and grow! What a sweet and fun little person she has become.

 

So full of personality.

We danced.

 

We laughed..a lot.

 

We were calm...for a few seconds.

 

Love the bond between these two!

 

Thanks for spending time with me again this year ladies!! Always love our time together!! Next year...lets get dad to join us! ;)

revisiting a favorite

Today I am revisiting a favorite session of mine.

 

 Back in July I hosted my first shoot out. I had so much fun hanging out with people that all share the same passion for photography.  

 

I just had to share a few more of the gorgeous Megan from our day. If you missed the first look at our day you can see it here.

This session was anything but perfect.

 

Crying babies.

 

Fast moving toddlers.

 

Stressed moms.

 

Lots of funny faces.

 

And a photographer that could NOT stop laughing.

 

This is real life.

 

The things that make me love my job.

 

So for those of you that fear it won't be perfect...it won't!

 

It never is...and that's perfect!!

 

These are the moments that you WILL want to remember in the passing years!!

I can NOT tell you how much I enjoyed this session and my time with this family!

 

A sweet new baby, first time parents and SO much love!!

 

This little guy helped me to find my love again as well. ;) That is my love for newborn photography. Gasp...I know!!

 

You see I have a love hate relationship with these session, but I think from now on it will just be a love relationship. I am going back to my roots with these sessions. I will no longer be doing full posed newborn sessions.

 

I  love the lifestyle aspect of photography.

 

I hope that you will love it too!!!

the R family

I love when "work" doesn't feel like I'm working at all. That certainly was the case with this family. I had so much fun with them. Full of energy, laughs and big smiles. Mom's laugh is just contagious! I hope that these sweet smiles are around me for a long time to come. SO glad my brother-in-law sent them my way!

cousins & catching up with old friends

I couldn't think of a better way to end my very first mini- session date than with a great visit with old friends. Haven't seen them in many years and it sure was great to see them again. Just as sweet as I remember them. And now they have their own sweet little ones.

I say it all the time, but one of the greatest compliments is when clients return to me to capture their memories.

 

These days there are SO many choices for photos and I am so grateful to be able to do what I love! 

 

I was so excited to see this gorgeous family again. I just love our time together. And this year was nothing different...so fun!!
