meet Margaux {10 days new}

I knew that she would soon be arriving as I left for vacation.

I received the text from her mom that she had safely arrived.

I couldn't wait to meet her.

She did not disappoint.

A complete angel!!

Their day was filled with all of the things that a wedding day should be.

the element of surprise

With technology being as amazing as it is these days...it can also be a bit of a bummer.

Don't get me wrong, I love our modern day advances, but it just leaves little to the imagination sometimes.

We live in a world that is very much a "need to have it now" and "need to know now" society.

And although that's not always a bad thing...it's not always as fun either.

These two are waiting for the ultimate surprise.

Will they soon have a son or a daughter?

We will have to wait and see!

happy almost birthday little man

He arrived a little early.

He just couldn't wait to join our family.

We learned just how strong of a fighter he was. 

Now he's turning 1...what a year it has been!!!

Such a big boy now!

This little man sure did make me (and his mom) work.

I don't think I have ever seen a kid run so much in my life

I was tired just watching him.

He was so darn cute though..so I was willing to join in the chase!!

that talented man of mine

A few weeks ago I had a switch in roles...I was now the second shooter. My hubby usually second shoots for me, for weddings mainly, but this time I was his second. I love working together! At this point we know each others routine and habits. We just work well together and "get" each other. 

He was doing a session for some friends and asked me to come along and back him up. So now it was my turn...the pressure was on. Actually I love being the second...not so much pressure. ;) I do have to admit that I had my moments of "let it go" and "keep your mouth shut" that I had to say to myself. I think I did pretty good if I do say so myself. ;)

And I have to say that my man did a great job himself. We shot the images together, but he did all the sorting and editing himself. Way to go Dustin!!!

It is supposed to be good luck if it rains on your wedding day...so they say. 

I choose to believe that!

In this case the good luck was poured upon them along with lots of love and well wishes.

This was such a sweet and loving day to be a part of.
